He set up Gaitsford Investments Limited in July 2001, a private equity investment and advisory vehicle. Greg is a director and significant shareholder in Arena Group Limited in the UK and Hireall Limited and Caterhire Limited in Ireland. |

PATRICK J LAWLESS (Chief Executive Officer) Patrick founded Appian in 2003 after completing the management buy-out of the private client arm of Aberdeen Asset Management Ireland Limited. He has over 20 years' investment experience in the asset management business and was Head of Investment Services for ABN AMRO Bank in Ireland. Patrick is a qualified Investment Analyst and is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute and the Society of Investment Professionals in the UK and is also a member of the Society of Investment Analysts in Ireland. |

FRANK O'BRIEN (Non Executive Director) Frank was appointed to the board of directors of Appian in October 2009 having been an investment committee member since 2003. Frank has over 30 years of investment experience and was Chief Investment Officer with Irish Life Investment Managers from 1992 to 1998. Frank is a director of The Institute of Investment Analysts in Ireland Limited and is a past president of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in Ireland. |

MARTIN CRONIN (Non Executive Director) Martin joined the board of directors of Appian in December 2009. A fellow of the Irish Academy of Engineering. Martin was chief executive of Forfás, the state body responsible for supporting and promoting national competitiveness, from 2002 to 2009. Prior to his appointment at Forfás, Martin was director of operations at IDA Ireland for eight years. Martin is a board member of the Tyndall National Institute, the Institute of Public Administration and is an authority member of the Higher Education Authority. |

KEVIN MENTON (Director) Kevin joined Appian in October 2008. He began his career in banking with Bank of Ireland Group and spent 10 years with Ulster Bank Group where he was Head of Corporate Banking Division. Subsequent to his banking career, Kevin has spent 15 years working in industry and recently successfully sold Allspace Limited, a company he co-founded in 1994. Kevin is a business and economics graduate of Trinity College, Dublin. |

ANNE CHAMBERS (Company Secretary) Anne joined Appian In September 2006 and has responsibility for Compliance, Finance and Administration. She previously worked as a Manager with AIB Private Banking and prior to that with ABN AMRO Bank. Anne is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, an Associate of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and a Qualified Financial Adviser. |
